About Auralis
A retreat shaped by light, land, and stillness.

A dream, carried by two sisters.
Aura Corbett began as a dream our mother nurtured, and that two sisters carried into the embrace of the Himalaya. It grew from a simple, enduring love of the wild: a wish to protect it, to empower the women and young people of this region, and to let people and wildlife flourish side by side.
Founded in 2014, Aura Corbett is a celebration of the spirit, strength, and heritage of these hills. As we prepare to welcome Auralis to the foothills of Sitabani in 2026, we carry that legacy forward, with stewardship of the land, kinship with our community, and a quiet reverence for the place that shaped us.
Bhalon, on the edge of the wild.
The resort sits in Bhalon, a short drive from Ramnagar, the gateway to Jim Corbett National Park. Around it lie Sal forests, seasonal rivers, and the first rise of the Himalayan foothills.
This is some of the richest wildlife country in the region, home to elephants, deer, leopards, and the elusive tiger, with more than six hundred species of birds passing through the surrounding forests.
Quiet luxury, warmly kept.
Our approach is simple: anticipate, never intrude. From the first welcome to the last farewell, service at Auralis is attentive and unhurried, present when you need it and invisible when you do not.
Seasonal kitchens, a restorative spa, open lawns, and spaces made for gathering all sit within easy reach, ready when you are.
Light on the land.
We build and operate with the forest in mind: rainwater harvesting, solar support, locally sourced kitchens, and a steady move away from single-use plastic.
The goal is a resort that gives back to the landscape that makes it possible, so that the wild around Bhalon stays wild for those who come after.
